THE SPACE / LAYOUT
Just the cutest cottage with lots of wall art from local artists, surf memorabilia and historic Bonny hills shots. Beds are made with fresh high quality linen. Open plan living, all single level, access to the cottage is via a front ramp, 2 steps and backdoor with 3 steps. Large dining table. Relaxing lounge. One bathroom inside with shower, vanity, toilet. A second toilet is located outside next to the laundry building. Second shower (older style hence not counted as proper shower, yet fully functional) inside the laundry building. Laundry building with Miele washing machine. Ocean views from almost everywhere. Plenty of outdoor space on the covered front balcony featuring outdoor dining and a hooded gas BBQ. Pick some fresh herbs from the back patio. The cottage was used from the 1950's onwards by city and inland folk for holidays, was only reachable by sand path back then!

Furry friends are welcome. Ideally outside dogs or well trained smaller inside dogs. Pets to be kept off furniture and beds, at night pets can sleep inside at back hallway or in the laundry. Please just chat to us about your needs and kindly inform us about the type of pet. Thank you. The side yard and back patio are fully enclosed. Dog bowls are provided.
The dog friendly beach is straight across the road on the left side of the creek.

THE AREA – WALK TO BEACH, CAFES AND SHOPS
Bonny Hills and the Port Macquarie area all about the beach and outdoor lifestyle and gourmet, locally sourced fresh food. Enjoy the whales passing by during their migration from May-November.
Bartlett's Beach (50m) is a beautiful sheltered bay, great for collecting shells, playing on the rocks, swimming and boogie boarding. Patrolled Rainbow beach, surf break, shops and and restaurants are 5-10 minutes walk or 2 minutes drive. Jungarra Crescent (240m) has a pharmacy and cafe and Bonny View Store (700m) is a convenience store with takeaway store.
Lake Cathie heart with cafe's, restaurants, tavern, and shopping centre is 8 kilometres down the road. Lake Cathie is a small, easy going, coastal town and has no traffic lights.
Port Macquarie CBD is 30 minutes drive (25.5km), Port Macquarie airport 30 minutes drive (32km)
So much to do in the area, we provide activity cards in your Bonny Hills holiday rental house with suggestions for things to do and how to get there... or simply stay at home and relax.

How to reach the property

YOUR HOLIDAY RENTAL COTTAGE IN BONNY HILLS, NSW 2445 (MID-NORTH COAST) - 38 Rodley Street

From Sydney take the M1 North towards Newcastle/Taree/Brisbane. Take the Kew/Laurieton exit and start following coastal route 10. You will pass through Lakewood (big supermarket on your left), at Laurieton take a left towards North Haven/Bonny Hills/Port Macquarie. In Bonny Hills once you see the Surf Life Saving club/Bonny's Beach Cafe on your right hand side slow down, take a right onto beach street. Dark grey cottage with blue front door on the corner of Rodley street and Beach Street.
IF you come from the NORTH take the Lake Cathie/ Bonny Hills exist at the M1 and follow the Bonny Hills signs. Once in Bonny Hills keep driving along Ocean Drive towards North Haven, once you pass Bonny Hills Beach Hotel you will get to Beach Street take a left. Dark grey cottage with blue front door on the corner of Rodley street and Beach Street.

To ensure our properties are treated fairly, guests are required to agree to abide by our House Rules by electronically signing our Registration Form regarding a Security Bond prior to arrival. The Security Bond for this property is: 300.00 AUD($) .

Booking Cancellation Policy

CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY

We understand things can happen beyond your control. We strive to work towards a satisfactory solution for all and will assess your situation and options available. Our general refund policy:

  • Grace period 24 hours  Cancellations within 24 hours of booking are free of charge for bookings made on our direct booking website*. 
  • Cancellations made up to 30 days prior to arrival are free of charge
  • Cancellations between 30 to 14 days prior to arrival incur a loss of deposit, generally 50% of the total rate of your booking. If we can secure a new booking for the dates that you cancelled we will refund your monies paid to date minus 25% of total booking fee as admin fee and any cost recovery charges for third party travel sites*.
  • Cancellations made within 14 days of arrival incur a loss of full payment. If we can secure a new booking we will refund your monies paid minus a 25% admin fee plus any cost recovery charges for third party travel sites and any discounts given to new guests to secure the new booking.
  • * Reservations made via third party on-line travel sites such as Airbnb, Booking.com, Stayz may incur cost recovery charges for booking fees and commissions that these sites still charge us when you cancel.

  • COVID-19: If government introduces a travel ban, major events are cancelled which are out of your and our control we will assess your situation, automatically rebook you for a future date free of charge, or apply a more lenient cancellation rule, we refund 75% and keep 25% of total charge as admin cancellation fee. If you only made your booking recently since the outbreak of the virus you were aware of the risks

Common sense applies i.e. keep the property tidy upon departure, notify us of any damages, excess (cleaning) charges may apply when rules are not met.
