Welcome to Illalangi, top of headland with ocean views - relax by the swimming pool in the private setting or enjoy a leisurely hike through Kattang National Park Nature Reserve, just behind the home. Pilot Beach, a safe swimming beach, and Wash House Beach are at the end of the street, less than 500 metres. Take a stroll along the Camden Haven River. The hike to Point Perpendicular is well worth it, even the kids can walk it. Modern conveniences abound: free WIFI, Aircon, Netflix, full Foxtel.

THE SPACE / LAYOUT
The air-conditioned downstairs area of Illalangi includes two lounge spaces, a dining area, and a modern kitchen with gas cooking. It opens up to an outdoor entertaining zone with covered alfresco dining, a BBQ, and a solar-heated saltwater pool (excluding winter). Relax by the poolside cabana with lounge chairs, surrounded by a tranquil tropical garden. Upstairs, you'll find the bedrooms, including a master with an ensuite and balcony with water views. The main bathroom features a vanity, walk-in shower, and a separate toilet. Both bathrooms are sleek and contemporary.

THE AREA – WALK TO BEACH, CAFES AND SHOPS

Dunbogan and the Port Macquarie area are all about the beach and outdoor lifestyle and gourmet, locally sourced fresh food. Enjoy the whales passing by during their migration from May-November.
Pilot Beach and Wash House Beach is a short walk from Illalangi, directly down Bergalia Crescent. They are safe swimming beaches. The hike to Point Perpendicular starts at the end of the street and is a round trip of 4kms. You can see blow holes and many wild flowers in season, and when lucky and spot migrating whales between May-Nov.
Laurieton is a short drive and is home to many great food spots. Try Grounded Espresso for a fresh coffee or Delizioso for an authentic Italian meal.
Laureiton and Camden Haven are small, easy going, coastal towns they have no traffic lights.
Port Macquarie CBD is 40 minutes drive, Port Macquarie airport 45-50 minutes drive

So much to do in the area, we provide activity cards in your holiday rental house with suggestions for things to do and how to get there... or simply stay at home and relax.

How to reach the property

FROM SYDNEY/SOUTH and/or BRISBANE/NORTH take the M1 North towards Newcastle/Taree/Brisbane. Take the Kew/Laurieton exit and start following coastal route 10. You will pass through Lakewood (big Woolworth supermarket on your left), at Laurieton keep driving through Laurieton towards Dunbogan. Cross over the bridge to Dunbogan and then take a left onto The Boulevard and drive along the waterfront (on your left), the Boulevard goes over into Camden Head Road. When the road swerves to the right, and follow along Camden Head Road for another 2.6 kms then take a right onto Bergalia Crescent.

Booking Cancellation Policy

CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY

We understand things can happen beyond your control. We strive to work towards a satisfactory solution for all and will assess your situation and options available. Our general refund policy:

  • Grace period 24 hours  Cancellations within 24 hours of booking are free of charge for bookings made on our direct booking website*. 
  • Cancellations made up to 30 days prior to arrival are free of charge
  • Cancellations between 30 to 14 days prior to arrival incur a loss of deposit, generally 50% of the total rate of your booking. If we can secure a new booking for the dates that you cancelled we will refund your monies paid to date minus 25% of total booking fee as admin fee and any cost recovery charges for third party travel sites*.
  • Cancellations made within 14 days of arrival incur a loss of full payment. If we can secure a new booking we will refund your monies paid minus a 25% admin fee plus any cost recovery charges for third party travel sites and any discounts given to new guests to secure the new booking.
  • * Reservations made via third party on-line travel sites such as Airbnb, Booking.com, Stayz may incur cost recovery charges for booking fees and commissions that these sites still charge us when you cancel.

  • COVID-19: If government introduces a travel ban, major events are cancelled which are out of your and our control we will assess your situation, automatically rebook you for a future date free of charge, or apply a more lenient cancellation rule, we refund 75% and keep 25% of total charge as admin cancellation fee. If you only made your booking recently since the outbreak of the virus you were aware of the risks
