THE SPACE / LAYOUT
Tribal Tides consists of 3 seperate buildings. The main house, the laundry/bathroom and a double garage.
Enter the main house at the heart of the living area connecting to the dining and kitchen. The main bathroom is in the hall to the right with a walk in shower and toilet, directly across is bedroom 3. Bedroom 2 located down on the right then at the end of the hall you will find the generous master bedroom.
Outside you will find the laundry with the second bathroom inside with a washer, bath/shower and a seperate toilet.

COOLING
All bedrooms have ceiling fans. Lovely ocean breeze comes through the house.

LAUNDRY
Laundry is located in external building in the backyard with washing machine and the second bathroom with toilet and shower within the bathtub.

PARKING
There is a lock up double garage available for your use. Also drive way parking and free street parking are available. Ample space for cars, boat and other fun equipment. NOTE - the property owners do allow a caravan to be parked on the drive, with maximum 2 people, at an extra fee per night, enquire for details.

BOAT RAMP
Bay street boat ramp is approximately 500 meters away. Gogleys lagoon boat ramp, park and playground, 950 meters away.

YARD
Please note that the backyard and front yard are NOT fully fenced. The backyard adjoins the bush and the front yard opens up to the street and river.

PET FRIENDLY ON REQUEST ONLY
Dogs are allowed with pre-approval from the property manager only. Well behaved, mature, non-shedding small to medium dogs and outdoor dogs preferred. Dogs are to be kept off any furniture including lounges and beds. Please note that there is ample space in the backyard however the yard is not fenced so owners need to keep an eye on their dogs if they are outside. Road in front of the house leads across to the river.

THE AREA – WALK TO BEACH, CAFES AND SHOPS
Dunbogan and the Port Macquarie area are all about the beach and outdoor lifestyle and gourmet, locally sourced fresh food. Enjoy the whales passing by during their migration from May-November.
You are situated directly across from the Camden Haven River where you can go swimming. Pilot Beach, Wash House Beach and Dunbogan beach are a short drive from Tribal Tides. They are safe swimming beaches. The hike to Point Perpendicular is a round trip of 4kms and starts from near Pilot Beach. You can see blow holes and many wild flowers in season, and spot migrating whales in winter and spring.
Laurieton is a short drive and is home to many great food spots. Try Grounded Espresso for a fresh coffee or Delizioso for an authentic Italian meal.
Laurieton and Camden Haven are small, easy going, coastal towns they have no traffic lights.
Port Macquarie CBD is 40 minutes drive, Port Macquarie airport 45-50 minutes drive
So much to do in the area, we provide activity cards in your holiday rental house with suggestions for things to do and how to get there... or simply stay at home and relax.

No school groups, under 21 groups, bucks or hens parties, large loud adult groups, events.
Quiet time from 10pm-7am, please keep our neighbours happy. Guests that do not adhere to the house rules will have their full bond forfeited.

How to reach the property

FROM SYDNEY/SOUTH and/or BRISBANE/NORTH take the M1 North towards Newcastle/Taree/Brisbane. Take the Kew/Laurieton exit and start following coastal route 10. You will pass through Lakewood (big Woolworth supermarket on your left), at Laurieton keep driving through Laurieton towards Dunbogan. Cross over the bridge to Dunbogan and then take a left onto The Boulevard and drive along the waterfront (on your left), number 37 The Boulevard.
PARKING: please park on the driveway, the key for the garage is in the lockbox.
KEY LOCATION: the key lock box is located on the right hand side of the back door. You will receive the code via SMS on the day of arrival around 8.15am.

To ensure our properties are treated fairly, guests are required to agree to abide by our House Rules by electronically signing our Registration Form regarding a Security Bond prior to arrival. The Security Bond for this property is: 300.00 AUD($) .

Booking Cancellation Policy

CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY

We understand things can happen beyond your control. We strive to work towards a satisfactory solution for all and will assess your situation and options available. Our general refund policy:

  • Grace period 24 hours  Cancellations within 24 hours of booking are free of charge for bookings made on our direct booking website*. 
  • Cancellations made up to 30 days prior to arrival are free of charge
  • Cancellations between 30 to 14 days prior to arrival incur a loss of deposit, generally 50% of the total rate of your booking. If we can secure a new booking for the dates that you cancelled we will refund your monies paid to date minus 25% of total booking fee as admin fee and any cost recovery charges for third party travel sites*.
  • Cancellations made within 14 days of arrival incur a loss of full payment. If we can secure a new booking we will refund your monies paid minus a 25% admin fee plus any cost recovery charges for third party travel sites and any discounts given to new guests to secure the new booking.
  • * Reservations made via third party on-line travel sites such as Airbnb, Booking.com, Stayz may incur cost recovery charges for booking fees and commissions that these sites still charge us when you cancel.

  • COVID-19: If government introduces a travel ban, major events are cancelled which are out of your and our control we will assess your situation, automatically rebook you for a future date free of charge, or apply a more lenient cancellation rule, we refund 75% and keep 25% of total charge as admin cancellation fee. If you only made your booking recently since the outbreak of the virus you were aware of the risks

When booking with us you agree to our house rules. Common sense applies i.e. keep the property tidy upon departure, notify us of any damages, excess (cleaning) charges may apply when rules are not met. Children are welcome. Cots and high chairs are available free of charge up to 1 each. Additional cots and chairs $50 each per stay. Please select them as optional items during the online booking process so we can have them ready for you upon arrival.
