THE SPACE / LAYOUT
Uniquely decorated with wonders from around the world. The owner, who lives here part of the year, loves to travel and brings a piece of his holiday home with him.

Open plan comfy dining & lounge opens up to a large entertaining balcony with amazing views of the ocean. If it’s too windy you also have the option of an enclosed back balcony with plenty of seating and a hooded gas BBQ. The kitchen includes dishwasher, oven and Nespresso machine plus a fully stocked pantry, on a share & replace basis; you take some and leave some. Netflix, Foxtel Now and free WIFI are an added bonus. Two bedrooms include queen beds, main with large ensuite and bath.

The views are magnificent, you can identify the surfers riding the waves across the street, that's how close you are to the beach!

THE AREA
Watonga Rocks is 200 metres from lighthouse beach, a perfect beach for ideal long walks, taking a camel safari ride, beach fishing and 4WD access at the southern end. The beach is patrolled during the School Holidays. This is a great spot for surfers with ideal surfing beaches along the Port Macquarie coast. It is a luxury to just stroll across the road and enjoy this pristine beach. You're only a 5 min drive from Port Macquarie Golf Course with great quality golfing amenities. Port Macquarie is all about outdoor living, beach, hiking, bush tracks, wild flowers, mountain biking, biking, winery tours, many uncrowded beaches and bays waiting for you to discover them.

No school groups, under 21 groups or hens and bucks parties-Not suitable for children under 8 years old due to owner preference , multiple artwork and safety.

How to reach the property

YOUR HOLIDAY RENTAL HOME IN PORT MACQUARIE, NSW 2444 (MID-NORTH COAST) - 2/52 Watonga Street
From Sydney/South: take the M1 towards Taree and Brisbane. Take the Kew exit and start following coastal route 10 towards Laurieton and Port Macquarie. At Laurieton go left and follow North Haven, Bonny Hills, Lake Cathie, Port Macquarie. As you come into Port Macquarie you will pass the golf club on your right then at the first roundabout turn right on to Mathew Flinders Drive. Continue along for 800 m the turn left a Bourne Street. At the end of the street you will see the apartments on your right and shops on your left.
From Brisbane/North: Take the M1 towards Port Macquarie exit, follow Oxley Highway into town, follow 'town beach / beaches' signs. Drive along Pacific Drive until you see the Light House Beach signs. Turn left on Light House Beach Road, the right on Mathew Flinders Drive. Once you are at the bottom of the big hill you will see the surf club on your left, continue along until Watonga Street. The apartment is on the left. Street parking available on Bourne Street.

Booking Cancellation Policy

CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY

We understand things can happen beyond your control. We strive to work towards a satisfactory solution for all and will assess your situation and options available. Our general refund policy:

  • Grace period 24 hours  Cancellations within 24 hours of booking are free of charge for bookings made on our direct booking website*. 
  • Cancellations made up to 30 days prior to arrival are free of charge
  • Cancellations between 30 to 14 days prior to arrival incur a loss of deposit, generally 50% of the total rate of your booking. If we can secure a new booking for the dates that you cancelled we will refund your monies paid to date minus 25% of total booking fee as admin fee and any cost recovery charges for third party travel sites*.
  • Cancellations made within 14 days of arrival incur a loss of full payment. If we can secure a new booking we will refund your monies paid minus a 25% admin fee plus any cost recovery charges for third party travel sites and any discounts given to new guests to secure the new booking.
  • * Reservations made via third party on-line travel sites such as Airbnb, Booking.com, Stayz may incur cost recovery charges for booking fees and commissions that these sites still charge us when you cancel.

  • COVID-19: If government introduces a travel ban, major events are cancelled which are out of your and our control we will assess your situation, automatically rebook you for a future date free of charge, or apply a more lenient cancellation rule, we refund 75% and keep 25% of total charge as admin cancellation fee. If you only made your booking recently since the outbreak of the virus you were aware of the risks
