THE SPACE / LAYOUT
Waterside Escape is a beautifully designed upside down house, truly making the most of the glistening ocean views. DOWNSTAIRS you will find bedroom 3 and 4 both with walk in robes and ceiling fans. There is a second/kids lounge equipped with sofa bed. Modern half bathroom with walk in shower and stylish functional laundry.
UPSTAIRS the modern design seamlessly blends the dining, lounge and kitchen areas. Whip up a culinary masterpiece in the beautiful brand new kitchen and choose to dine either indoors, on the balcony with ocean views. There is a quirky reading nook/office space looking over the kitchen/living space. The master bedroom, complete with walk in robe and ensuite is thoughtfully situated at one end of the home for ultimate privacy. The luxurious ensuite features wall and ceiling windows, allowing you to feel immersed in nature as you bathe. Bedroom 2 again has walk in robes, ceiling fan and a single bed with trundle. The garden features a luxurious heated pool and great entertaining area with BBQ.

THE AREA
Rainbow beach 200 meters stroll from the house, via beach pathway. Middle Rock and Bonny Hills surf break 1 kilometer away. Lake 5 minutes drive, great for small kids, paddling, fishing.
Watch the migrating humpback whales from May to November.

FROM SYDNEY/SOUTH:
Take the M1 towards Taree and Brisbane. Take the Lake Cathie (Houston Mitchell Drive) exit, turn left at the roundabout onto Ocean Drive towards Port Macquarie. Turn right onto Seaside Drive then left onto Waterside Way in Lake Cathie.

FROM BRISBANE/NORTH:
Take the M1 towards Taree and Sydney and take the Lake Cathie (Houston Mitchell Drive) exit, turn left at the roundabout onto Ocean Drive towards Port Macquarie. Turn right onto Seaside Drive then left onto Waterside Way in Lake Cathie.

- Rainbow Beach: Just south of Lake Cathie, this beach is known for its colorful cliffs and is great for a beach walk.
- Middle Rock Beach: A quieter beach popular for surfing and fishing.

To ensure our properties are treated fairly, guests are required to agree to abide by our House Rules by electronically signing our Registration Form regarding a Security Bond prior to arrival. The Security Bond for this property is: 900.00 AUD($) .

CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY

We understand things can happen beyond your control. We strive to work towards a satisfactory solution for all and will assess your situation and options available. Our general refund policy:

• Grace period 24 hours  Cancellations within 24 hours of booking are free of charge for bookings made on our direct booking website*. 
• Cancellations made up to 30 days prior to arrival are free of charge
• Cancellations between 30 to 14 days prior to arrival incur a loss of deposit, generally 50% of the total rate of your booking. If we can secure a new booking for the dates that you cancelled we will refund your monies paid to date minus 25% of total booking fee as admin fee and any cost recovery charges for third party travel sites*.
• Cancellations made within 14 days of arrival incur a loss of full payment. If we can secure a new booking we will refund your monies paid minus a 25% admin fee plus any cost recovery charges for third party travel sites and any discounts given to new guests to secure the new booking.

* Reservations made via third party on-line travel sites such as Airbnb, Booking.com, Stayz may incur cost recovery charges for booking fees and commissions that these sites still charge us when you cancel.

• COVID-19: If government introduces a travel ban, major events are cancelled which are out of your and our control we will assess your situation, automatically rebook you for a future date free of charge, or apply a more lenient cancellation rule, we refund 75% and keep 25% of total charge as admin cancellation fee. If you only made your booking recently since the outbreak of the virus you were aware of the risks
