Multiple lounge areas provide options for young and old. Cafes, restaurants, shops at your doorstep, within 5 minutes’ walk. Great for families. Plenty of parking for boat/trailer. Large family home. Kitchen, living, lounges and laundry on main level, all bedrooms upstairs. The deck off the kitchen / main entry door overlooks the pool. Downstairs is an additional studio which is not rented out, the owners use this for storage. You have the whole house to yourselves.

THE AREA
Middle Rock / Lake Cathie beach across the road, lake at end of the streat. Great for swimming, fishing, paddling. Middle Rock surf break 3 minutes drive, at end of the street. Woolworths shopping complex within 5 minutes walk or 2 minutes drive. Shops include a local local bakery, chemist bottle shop, petrol station, Lake Cathie tavern, Middle Rock Pizza. Andy’s Chinese take-away and Fish and Chips. Port Macquarie Lake Road Industrial area 15 minutes drive, Port Macquarie CBD 20 minutes drive.

OTHER
We cater to couples and small families only. Property not suitable to young adult groups, schoolies, student groups, hens and bucks parties, large (loud) adults groups.

From Sydney/South: take the M1 towards Taree and Brisbane. Take the Kew exit, follow coastal route 10 towards Laurieton and Port Macquarie. At Laurieton go left and follow North Haven, Bonny Hills, Lake Cathie, Port Macquarie.

From Brisbane/North: take the M1 towards Taree and Brisbane and take the Lake Cathie/Bonny Hills exit. Follow the Lake Cathie signs.

In Lake Cathie take a right at Middle Rock Road (after the first round about), then left onto Chepana Street.

- Lake Cathie Foreshore Reserve: Enjoy a picnic or BBQ with beautiful views of the lake.
- Lake Cathie Beach: Relax on the sandy shores or go for a swim in the ocean.
- Boating and Fishing: Explore the lake by kayak, paddleboard, or boat, and try your luck at fishing.
- Rainbow Beach: Just south of Lake Cathie, this beach is known for its colorful cliffs and is great for a beach walk.
- Middle Rock Beach: A quieter beach popular for surfing and fishing.
- Nature Reserves: Explore the nearby nature reserves, such as Limeburners Creek National Park, for bushwalking and wildlife spotting.

To ensure our properties are treated fairly, guests are required to agree to abide by our House Rules by electronically signing our Registration Form regarding a Security Bond prior to arrival. The Security Bond for this property is: 500.00 AUD($) .

CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY

We understand things can happen beyond your control. We strive to work towards a satisfactory solution for all and will assess your situation and options available. Our general refund policy:

• Grace period 24 hours  Cancellations within 24 hours of booking are free of charge for bookings made on our direct booking website*. 
• Cancellations made up to 30 days prior to arrival are free of charge
• Cancellations between 30 to 14 days prior to arrival incur a loss of deposit, generally 50% of the total rate of your booking. If we can secure a new booking for the dates that you cancelled we will refund your monies paid to date minus 25% of total booking fee as admin fee and any cost recovery charges for third party travel sites*.
• Cancellations made within 14 days of arrival incur a loss of full payment. If we can secure a new booking we will refund your monies paid minus a 25% admin fee plus any cost recovery charges for third party travel sites and any discounts given to new guests to secure the new booking.

* Reservations made via third party on-line travel sites such as Airbnb, Booking.com, Stayz may incur cost recovery charges for booking fees and commissions that these sites still charge us when you cancel.

• COVID-19: If government introduces a travel ban, major events are cancelled which are out of your and our control we will assess your situation, automatically rebook you for a future date free of charge, or apply a more lenient cancellation rule, we refund 75% and keep 25% of total charge as admin cancellation fee. If you only made your booking recently since the outbreak of the virus you were aware of the risks
